Ik was gecharmeerd door de kleuren toen ik het kocht. Eenmaal aan begonnen is het leuk om te doen omdat er steeds weer verrassingen opduiken met waar je mee bezig bent, dan is het weer een draak dan weer een boek, je blijft nieuwsgierig met wat je aan het borduren bent. Leuk

I was charmed by the colors buying it. Once started it was great fun to see all the surprises. Now it's a book, later a dragon. You just stayed curious to what item you are stitching on. Nice

Ik ben aan een nieuwe begonnen om mee te nemen op vakantie. Je bent toch eerst veel met de achtergrond bezig. Dan kan er ook niet veel mis gaan. Het is Medusa van L.A. Williams. Het is een hele grote. Maar dat vind ik niet erg. Ik zal genoeg voorraad 3371 meenemen want daar bestaat de achtergrond voornamelijk uit.

 A new start to take with me on Holiday. There is a lot of the background to do first. There's not much to do wrong. It is Medusa of LA Williams. It is a big one. But I do not mind. I will bring enough 3371 because that is the background mainly.

Ik was gegrepen door dit werk. Nadat ik het borduurwerk gekocht had kwam ik er achter dat het een roman is, geschreven door Patricia A. McKillip.

Samen met Denise uit Louisville (Kentucky) ben ik hieraan begonnen op basis van 500 steken per week.

I was thrilled by this work. After I had bought this work I discovered that it was based on a novel from Patricia A. McKillip.
I started this work together with Denise from Louisville (Kentucky) on a 500 stitches per week basis.

Madonna and the two angels is typisch een werkje voor de Kerst. Dus dat begint al te kriebelen. Het is niet zo'n groot stuk en valt bij Heaven and Earth onder de 'Tiny Treasures'

Madonna and the two angels is a typical Christmas work. So I like to start with it soon. It's no so big and Heaven And Earth designs calls this a Tiny Treasure.

Behold the latest offering from James C. Christensen’s Saints and Angels collection, a series of paintings that he attributes to his alter-ego, an obscure Flemish painter known as The Master of the Enoch Altarpiece.The subject of Madonna with Two Angels is Mary, mother of Jesus, flanked by angels.The models for Mary and the angels might have been the Master’s patrons, as it was customary at the time for the wealthy to request portraits that incorporated characteristics of saints or angels. This devotional piece would have hung in a private home to inspire prayer. Perhaps it was part of a family’s altar.

Werkje uit de Libelle. Dit is echt zo'n meer jaren project, waar ik zo af en toe eens aan werk.

Chart from magazine 'Libelle'. I work on this one very irregular, so it is a typical multiple year project.

Dit zijn weinig kleuren en vergen niet veel concentratie. Makkelijk om buiten aan te werken als de zon lekker schijnt.

Not to much different colours. It’s an simple chart and you can easily combine it with something else. Nice to work on outdoors when the sun is shining.
