Zomer 2004 kwam ik een rozenpatroontje tegen. En aangezien het mijn favo bloem is moest ik daar ook wat mee. Het begon allemaal met een rand voor de kast. Dan de vaas met rozen en een klein rozenvaasje. Ik was wel heel enthousiast en had gelijk een tafelkleed opgezet. Ditmaal niet met kruisjes maar met platte steken. Daar moet je wel een borduurring voor gebruiken want anders is het resultaat niet mooi. 
Ik had bij de stoffenzaak gewoon wit linnen gehaald en met kopieer papier het patroon overgezet. Het werd me allemaal wat te roze voor de ogen en moest het toch even wegleggen. Toen liep ik de sneeuwkoningin van Mirabilia tegen het lijf. Een verademing na al dat roze.

I found some rose charts in 2004 and roses are my personal favourite and I simply had to do something with it. It started with decoration of the cabinet shelves. Next piece was the a vase with roses. I was so excited that I started together with the vase a table cloth. No cross stitches, but long stitches. You have to use a hoop to achieve a good result.
I took some simple white linen from a fabric shop and used copy paper to transfer the pattern. After a while I had to stop with this one because everything became pinkish for my eyes. I found the Snow queen from Mirabilia a relieve after this ‘pink’ period.
